It' s basing time!

Basing time! Preparing for the Model expo Italy we based two ECW regiments.
And obviously we took some pics with our Cioporeporter...

Imbasettamento! Preparandoci per la  Model Expo Italy abbiamo
anche imbasettato due reggimenti della Guerra Civile Inglese.
Ed ovviamente abbiamo scattato qualche foto con il nostro Cioporeporter...

Now based and ready to fight. Basing is three bases of 6cm x 6cm each.
Rules are "Baroque", a supplement for Impetus.

ormai quasi pronto per il campo di battaglia ;-)

Questa volta i ritocchi finali del rosso delle giacche e per i pantaloni,

i foderi delle spade ed il nero della bandiera.

 

Red highlights for red coats...

Highlights rossi per le giacche...

 

Red brown highlights for scabbards and white for cuffs...

Highlights di marrone rossastro per i foderi e bianco per i polsini...

 Dark washing for the drummer, black and then medium grey highlights for the drum.

Then white for cords and tassels...

Washing scuro per il tamburino poi nero ed highlights di grigio medio per il tamburo.

Poi bianco per cordoni e nappe...

Highlights for the officer...

 Highlights per l' ufficiale...

 

Base colours for the ensign.

Dark grey for the flag and then a light-medium grey drybrush...

 Colori base per l' alfiere.

Grigio scuro per la bandiera e poi un drybrush con un grigio medio-chiaro...

Dark washing for ensign and his flag...

Washing scuro per l' alfiere e la sua bandiera...

WIP, ECW Allen Apsley' s regiment, 28mm...Part I...

We started to paint our second infantry regiment for our Royalist army.
Since we choose our regiments for their uniform colours...:-)...
we decided to paint a red coat regiment...and we like the black flag
of Apsley' s unit too...;-)

Abbiamo iniziato a dipingere il nostro secondo reggimento di fanteria per
l' esercito realista della Guerra Civile Inglese.
Per vostra curiosità noi scegliamo i reggimenti in base al colore di uniforme e della bandiera,
se ci piace o no, e di conseguenza ne abbiamo scelto uno
con la giacca rossa...ed inoltre ci piace la bandiera nera del reggimento di Apsley...;-)
