Hellana 2014, wargame convention and... I won...

The last day of March, we reached Agliana, near Florence, to attend

Hellana 2014 and propose the participation game of the Wargame Club Garibaldi.

The game was Hastings, based on Impetus rules...

Not only miniatures but...miniatures, games, food, wine, 

friends and...a really big cup for me! 

I won my painting competition category with my 28mm Jeep...

A nice wargaming day with Fire&Fury and Pz8 rules...

Yesterday, June 6, at the Garibaldi Wargame Club in Genoa,

there was a small wargaming day but no WWII...Some club members played a big ACW

battle with F&F rules and 10mm miniatures and the final result was a Confederate victory.

I played four small games using the Pz8 wargame rules with two other members,

two using the 1st draft of the Pz8 1848-90 rules and simulating the battle of Perryville, 

again two Confederate victories, and two Belleau Wood scenario using Pz8 WWI rules and 

this time with two German victories. For the WWI rules we used the latest amendments.

Sunny Day...Wargaming Day! By Cioporeporter...

A sunny day...and finally a wargaming day!

We met our friends Michael and Filippo for a wargaming afternoon...

3 WWII battle using a variant from Hord of the Things, HotT,
by Canadian Wargames Group and Bruce McFarlane.

3 matches and a victory for each one.

So we decided the victory of the day with a test match using the boardgame Palio,

the game on the "Palio di Siena" and this time Michael won!
