The making of a demo game, Belleau Wood, Part III

This time we' ll paint the German units!
In the Part IV we' ll prepare the battleground.

Ora tocca alle unità tedesche!

Nella Parte IV prepareremo il campo di battaglia.

Base colour and a small amount of dark grey washing.

Colore base ed un pò washing grigio scuro.

Base colour for webbings.

Colore base per le buffetterie.

Painting rifles and some camo helmets.

Dipingiamo fucili ed alcuni elmetti mimetizzati.

Painting bayonets.

Dipingiamo le baionette.

Black washing.

Washing nero.

Painting boots.

Dipingiamo gli stivali.

Officers.

Ufficiali.

A small drybrush with a sand colour.

Un pò di drybrush con un sabbia chiaro.

Glueing the miniatures to the bases and modelling the ground with acrylic filler.

Incolliamo alle basi le miniature e modelliamo il terreno con pasta acrilica.

Painting ground with a sand colour.

Dipingiamo il terreno con un color sabbia.

And now the final results, ready to fight!

Ed ora il risultato finale, pronto alla pugna!

The making of a demo game, Belleau Wood, Part II

Second part. This time we' ll continue to paint our miniatures and in particular will finish the US forces.

Seconda parte. Questa volta continueremo a dipingere le nostre miniature
ed in particolare termineremo le forze USA.

Part I

Highlighting the webbings.

Diamo luce alle buffetterie.

Helmets base colour.

Colore base per gli elmetti.

Rifles base colour.

Colore base per i fucili.

Dark brown washing.

E' il momento di un washing marrone scuro.

Painting boots dark brown.

Dipingiamo gli scarponi marrone scuro.

Preparing HMG.

Prepariamo le HMG.

Painting bayonets.

Dipingiamo le baionette.

Painting the shadow for the flesh tone.

Dipingiamo le ombre per i toni dell' incarnato.

And now we need to base our US soldiers!

Ed ora dobbiamo imbasettare i nostri fanti americani!

Glueing to mdf bases.

Incolliamo su basi in mdf.

Modelling the ground with acrylic filler.

Modelliamo il terreno con pasta acrilica.

Painting ground base colour.

Dipingiamo il colore di base del terreno.

And now ...flocking in two tones, first sand colour and then grass colour.

Ed ora finiamo col flocking in due toni, prima il color sabbia e poi l' erbetta.

The making of a demo game, Belleau Wood, Part I

Finally the Pendraken miniatures ordered have arrived...and immediately white primed and painted with uniform base colours for the US and German infantry. We decided to start this wargame project after having read the pz8 rules and scenarios for WWI and we have chosen the Belleau Wood scenario.
Obviously we' re painting these 10mm miniatures for our collection amongst the usual painting commission works...and by the way you' ll be able to see the finished wargame scenario in August at MiliSaona, international model show.

Finalmente i 10mm ordinati alla Pendraken sono arrivati...e subito hanno ricevuto il primer bianco e dopo i colori base per le uniformi americane e tedesche.
Abbiamo deciso di iniziare questo progetto dopo aver letto le regole pz8 per la Prima Guerra Mondiale e gli scenari allegati e da questi abbiamo scelto quello di Belleau Wood.

Ovviamente dipingiamo questi 10mm per la nostra collezione inserendoli tra i lavori su commissione di altri collezionisti...ed a proposito potrete vedere lo scenario completo ad Agosto in occasione di MiliSaona, international model show.

Genoa Spring Model Show...a Cioporeport by Cioporeporter...

1st April we have attended this model show with our stand and
Cioporeporter obviously has written his Cioporeport!

Il primo Aprile eravamo presenti al model show primaverile genovese organizzato dal Gruppo Fermodellistico Genovese ed ovviamente il nostro Cioporeporter non ha perso l' occasione per scrivere il suo Cioporeport!
