Updating and rebasing an ECW regiment, 28mm...the lavender regiment...

We decided to use for our 28mm ECW lavender regiment,
parliamentarian side, based 12cm x 6 cm,
the same basing of the other our ECW units, three bases 6cm x 6cm.
Due to this rebasing we had to paint two other muskeeters.
Here are some pics...;-)

Abbiamo deciso di usare per il nostro reggimento color lavanda,
parlamentare, prima imbasettato 12cm x 6 cm, lo stesso imbasettamento
delle altre nostre unità della Guerra Civile Inglese, tre basette 6cm x 6cm.
Facendo ciò abbiamo dovuto dipingere due altri moschettieri.

E dopo questo reggimento sarà pronto a combattere sul campo di battaglia...
si spera vittoriosamente e coraggiosamente...;-)

Glueing to 6cm x 6 cm mdf bases from Warbases...

Incollaggio su basi in mdf, 6cm x 6 cm, della Warbases...
 

Modelling ground with acrylic filler...

Modelliamo il terreno con pasta acrilica...
 

After spraying matt varnish, let dry, then use white glue and scatter,
randomly, some fine sand.
Immediately remove the excess and scatter fine green turf.
Let dry and remove the excess...;-)

Dopo aver spruzzato il protettivo opaco, lasciate asciugare.
poi usate colla vinilica e spargete, irregolarmente, della sabbia fine.
Immediatamente rimuovete l' eccesso e questa volta spargete
dell' erbetta in microfiocchi.
Lasciate asciugare e rimuovete l' eccesso...;-)

Base colours, brown for the rifle, bordeaux for the feather...

Colori base, marrone per il fucile, bordeaux per la piuma...

Now red for the feather and metal fittings...

Ora il rosso per la piuma e le parti in metallo del fucile...

Black washing for the rifle, pure white highlights for the uniform...

Washing nero per il fucile ed highlights bianchi per l' uniforme...

Metal fitting highlights with silver and a small drybrush for the backpack...

Ora gli highlights in argento delle parti metalliche del fucile
ed un po' di drybrush per lo zaino...

Ultima parte della nostra painting guide per il nostro reggimento di fanteria
della Guerra Civile Inglese. Bandiera, tamburo ed imbasettamento.
Ovviamente anche alcune foto "in action" con il nostro Cioporeporter...

Flag 1: print a flag on paper, cut and glue using white glue and let dry...

 Flag 1: stampate la bandiera su carta, ritagliate ed incollate
con colla vinilica e lasciate asciugare...



Flag 2: paint the base colours.
In this case bordeaux for red, light grey for white,
ochre for yellow and an electric blue for light blue.

Flag 2: dipingete i colori di base.
In questo caso bordeaux per il rosso, grigio chiaro per il bianco,
ocra per il giallo e blu elettrico per il blu chiaro.

Flag 3: paint the highlights.
White, red, light blue and lemon yellow.

Flag 3: dipingete gli highlights.
Bianco, rosso, blu chiaro e giallo limone.

Flag 4: let dry and then fold, gently, the flag.
Then paint the flag with white glue.

Flag 4: lasciare asciugare e poi piegare, con cautela, la bandiera.
Poi ricopritela con uno strato di colla vinilica.
 

Basing with acrylic filler. In this case 3 6x6 cm bases.

Modelliamo il terreno con pasta acrilica.
In questo caso utilizziamo 3 basi di 6x6 cm.

Flocked!

Ed anche il terreno è pronto!
