I have finished my first base of 28mm Caesarian Romans,
Wargames Factory plastic miniatures.
Basing for Impetus rules, 12cm x 4cm, but I' ll use my Caesarian Romans
with DBA too, with larger bases...
And now some pics of my painting work...Ad Maiora!
And Happy Wargaming...and Life!
Nice work Corky!
RispondiEliminaThank you Fran :-)
RispondiEliminaI don ' t know why, but I really liked to paint these miniatures... ;-)
Marzio.
I really like how you have done these, the shields are really great

Thanks Ian. Shields are handpainted.
EliminaPaint shields with several layers, then use dark brown as base for the leaves. Then a medium green for each leaf. And a yellow ink, I paint two layers of yellow ink, as final touch...
Marzio.
Very nice! Love the shields too!
RispondiEliminaThank you Phil :-) ...and to say the truth, I like shields too... ;-)

Beautiful! And you fooled me; I thought that the shield decoration was decals. I'm seriously impressed, Foggy!!
RispondiEliminaThanks Jay... :-) and to say the truth, again, I find easier to paint a shield than to use a decal. I always have some problems with decals... :-(
